As a photographer’s son, I like to think I understand the power of photos. But every once in awhile, I come across one that really resonates with me and stays etched in my mind. This photo of presumably a mother and daughter in India is one of those photos.

It depicts the harsh life that the family is living and the sacrifices that are being made to ensure the daughter has a school uniform so she can get a quality education. I love this photo and hope you do too. Enjoy.
